Name of the yakiniku sesame dressing

Hey all. I have been to Japan some time ago and I had the experience of eating yakiniku. Along with the delicious meat, they served a type of white cabbage with a clear sesame dressing. What is the name of that type of dressing? Because it does not seem to match the "regular" dressing in which mayonaise is added. This dressing was clear, with non grinded sesame seeds in it. The taste was sweet sourish. I want to replicate the dish because it was so good. Thank you :D
