Is chili oil on ramen frowned upon

I made a knockoff ramen dish yesterday using a regular pack of shin ramen and dressed it up with shiitake mushrooms, green.onion, ground pork, boiled egg, bean sprouts, chili crisp and daikon radish. I then drizzled some chili oil over top for a extra punch of heat. My sister flippantly said if I were in Japan, they would look down on me for putting chili oil on ramen. Firstly, I will put whatever condiments I damn well please on my 5 minute quick dinner but also, I was curious as to how true that is about ramen condiments/accompaniments, etc
