Can ume paste be used in place of ume plum vinegar?

Hey guys,

Was trying to find ume plum vinegar for a hot sauce recipe and could only find something called shiso ume paste. Is this an acceptable substitute and, if so, what is the appropriate amount to use? The recipe calls for 3 Tbsp of ume vinegar.
